I remember when Damon Wayans was crowing about Scorsese directing him in the Richard Pryor biopic.

I'll believe it when Scorsese says so. He's deeply involved with his passion project Silence right now so it's doubtful he's looking at what to do next. Plus I almost feel like at his age he's gonna do whatever he can to only work on movies he originated from now on.
Only way I see this being true is if a Mike Tyson is the project Paramount contracts Scorsese into doing to pay off them distributing "Silence". Still, I feel like if there was a project with Scorsese involved in that Paramount would want a role in it would be "The Irishman".
We'll see. Way too early to say what Scorsese is doing next after he finishes his current movie. It's too unpredictable.

thanks for thew news, nas I remember when Damon Wayans was crowing about Scorsese directing him in the Richard Pryor biopic. The difference in this case is that Jamie Foxx's manager is Rick Yorn.

Just like Mike Tyson I think Kenneth Branagh has his hopes up way too early. Video

The Irishman Furious Love The Ramones Sinatra Macbeth Mike Tyson Grateful Dead Cortes King Leopold Cleopatra Boardwalk Empire Movie Shutter Island TV Series GONY TV Series
All these projects have Marty attached to them. It`s almost ridiculous. A lot of people will be unsatisfied because Marty doesn`t have the time to do all of them.

I don`t know whats really happening. It`s like Marty can`t say no to anyone. I don`t know what Marty will direct next and i don`t think he knows either. Scorsese doing Shakespeare would be great. But i`m guessing Kenneth will end up directing the film himself.

In addition to that he said that Scorsese is manic-depressive. And he didn't say Scorsese was obsessed with his financial obligations, but rather that he was "too busy earning money to pay the rent".
