Regarding tweets, it could be that those who saw it and didn't like it much didn't feel like tweeting about it, perhaps out of respect for Scorsese. I know, what an idea... but maybe.
Also, I haven't checked all today's awards, but I saw the film did not get any nominations at the St. Louis Film Critics Awards and I remembered this tweet:

Could explain why it also missed at the Online Film Critics Society too
Takis Garis @takisgaris #OFCS nominations are just out. *We* went head over heels for The Wind Rises. No love for The Wolf of Wall Street. #nowonder #nobodyseenit

If the studio thought this was going to have Oscar potential, why not release it next fall? It's not like Scorsese fans aren't used to his long editing process. "The Aviator" finished filming in the fall of 2003 and was not released until Christmas 2004. "Monuments Men" dropped out because it wasn't done in time. Plus, WOW was delayed by Hurricane Sandy. The studio could have used that excuse to negate those who would claim the film sucked because it was pushed back. On the other hand, if this is not awards material, why not release it early next year, like with "Shutter Islamd"?

I heard Paramount had no problem having it as a 2014 release but the financiers insisted it got released this year

Christoph Keller @christophkeller If you're involved in filmmaking, don't watch Wolf of Wall Street. You'll never be as good. (do watch it, though)
David Stripinis @davidstripinis Wolf of Wall Street is like watching Miles Davis jam. A master artist playing on his terms and producing genius work.
Jim Bradshaw @thejimb Saw Wolf of Wall Street with our office manager. Her verdict: "Wouldn't want to be responsible for keeping THOSE carpets clean."
Jim Bradshaw @thejimb In related news: Leo Di Caprio's looking FINE these days.
Neil Miller @rejects WOLF OF WALL STREET takes off like a shot and never lets up. It's surreal and exhausting and inarguably brilliant.
Aaron Pruner @aaronflux Saw it days ago and WOLF OF WALL STREET keeps popping up in my mind. I must see it again. Best movie I've seen this year.
Jack Kyser @jackkyser Now that it has screened for critics/ guilds, I think I'm allowed to say I saw The Wolf of Wall Street over a month ago. It's a masterpiece.
---------------
Goss of X-mas Past @williambgoss The Wolf of Wall Street has/is one of the greatest drug scenes in recent memory.
david ehrlich @davidehrlich @williambgoss possibly of all time.
Peter Labuza @labuzamovies @davidehrlich @williambgoss Harold Lloyd cocaine scenes, bros.
david ehrlich @davidehrlich @labuzamovies @williambgoss Modern Times cocaine scene FTWWWW
Ryan MacDuff @rymacduff @davidehrlich @labuzamovies @williambgoss if we keep in mind he said *recent* memory, than I'll throw in Mendelsohn in KILLING THEM SOFTLY
david ehrlich @davidehrlich @rymacduff @labuzamovies @williambgoss pretty sure WOWS scene tops them all. you’ll know it when you see it.
Ryan MacDuff @rymacduff 2h @davidehrlich @labuzamovies @williambgoss I'm so ready to be WOW'D by WOWS !!!

This "girl" has been exposed as a fugazi, who has lied about several things. In fact it turns out that "she" is a clearwaterGUY. He could very well have lied about seeing the film too. On an entirely different note; The critics choice score is up and it is at 87/100. But it could obviously still go up, down, sideways or in circles as more ratings comes in. BFCA

Apparently Lou Luminick HATES this movie. He doesn't buy that it missed SAG because it screened late. He thinks the lack of nominations was because the movie sucked. Can a Scorsese movie really be that bad?

Could this be a BAFTA member?

Yes, he is a BAFTA-member. Right now WOWS needs all the BAFTA-love it can get. A director, picture and best actor nod and we should be back on track. The director snub today really shook me. But if it gets love from Critics Choice and BAFTA it will still be in the game.
