Scorsese introduced the restoration of The Age of Innocence, a few days ago: He's a bit tired...

Thanks will for this. Always great to see Marty talk... I agree with u. He looks worn-out. Someone should release him from this editing room hell. Even Harvey ''The Butcher'' Weinstein at this point he would have said...''Enough with the editing. Time to release the fucking thing'' How ironic sounds now the opinion that some posters expressed back in the day that this film is ''too easy'' for Marty...

thanks gabriel. Scorsese in black and white again I wish they'd picked a different photo for that page. It's ruining all the magic.

A Martin Scorsese picture? I thought we were talking about a TV commercial to sell colognes. But if Marketers didn`t indulge to a little bit of hyperbole who would right?... Thanks Gabriel for the link.

Guess you guys recognized the Goodfellas tune in the trailer (when mobsters are introduced at the Bamboo lounge): www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKt5P9R_uR8A Martin Scorsese picture? I thought we were talking about a TV commercial to sell colognes. Surely commercials can be an art too, can't they?

"Martin Scorsese couldn't be present for the LACMA world premiere of his Film Foundation's major restoration of Rebel Without a Cause, but he sent a good stand in: Leonardo DiCaprio. On Friday night, after LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg director Michael Govan and Gucci president and CEO Patrizio di Marco welcomed the cineast-filled crowd, Di Caprio took to the stage in a fine Gucci suit and short goatee. The actor apologized for Scorsese, whom he explained "is stuck in New York finishing our film Wolf of Wall Street." The crowd didn't seem too disappointed with Scorsese's stand in. DiCaprio, who starred in the five of the director's feature films, is is also one of the co-chairs of Saturday night's Art + Film Gala at LACMA. The actor went on to read Scorsese's notes praising Rebel Without a Cause director Nicholas Ray's filmmaking feat, his technical grasp of shots and composition, and his grateful appreciation of the funding support of Gucci and Warner Bros. (This is Gucci's tenth film restoration of this kind and magnitude.) www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/leonardo-dicaprio-stands-martin-scorsese-652765
