Kinda weird how the Deadline guys admit in their article this is based on rumors/speculations and everyone has just run with it. Apple has yet to make a comment.
A move to 2023 does make sense but so does it being released at the end of this year. Until Apple comments I'll stay optimistic.
Also, no mention of what Apple will do with Ridley Scott's NAPOLEON if this move happens. More than anything I doubt Apple would want their TWO passion projects from legendary directors with budgets in the $200m range to be directly competing with each other. We're going to get one of those two this year. If Apple says nothing but NAPOLEON is suddenly dated for Christmas then its officially official.
