Not a theater thing BUT an interesting new development in Netflix's relationship with the older entertainment industries : In February 2020 Netflix is allowing the Alfonso Cuaron film ROMA to join the Criterion Collection. This is a first time that a film solely owned by Netflix is being allowed a physical media release - Netflix does release some of their bigger TV shows on Bluray/DVD in hopes people without Netflix services will buy them, watch them & then get an account to watch the newest season & THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX got a Bluay release but that's because Paramount still retained the home video rights when they sold the film to Netflix - and possibly could mean at some point down the line THE IRISHMAN could get a disc release. One can hope. I own all of Scorsese's films on disc and really don't want an Irishman gap. Hopefully Netflix is open to the idea of giving THE IRISHMAN a disc release at some point. I hope ROMA being an acquisition (the movie was independently financed, already shot & almost finished in post when Netflix bought it at Cannes, they had nothing to do with the creation of the film, they just took the free press) isn't why the film is getting the release and THE IRISHMAN won't because Netflix DID pay for that one. www.criterion.com/films/30124-roma

At 19:50, there are closeups of the pages of the "Where Is Hoffa?' newspaper.
