Finally, I found a way watch it, too My favorite scene was the conference room lunch/meeting about halfway in. It was nice to see all the familiar faces in the cast, and from the new ones, apart from Cannavale, I liked Romano. I don't know much about the music scene of those decades, so here's an honest question: Was most of the music throughout the episode intentionally bad, so that we can appreciate the band playing in the first and last scene? I'm actually interested in continuing with the show, which I thought wouldn't have happened. Nas, will you continue watching?

Excellent 2nd episode.
1. Great opening credits sequence. 2. Cannavale is gonna win every fucking award out there for this role. 3. This could be Olivia`s best role since 13. 4. The musical interludes really work. They elevate the drama. I loved them all. 5. The full frontal shot. Kudos to the writers (in general) who ask from the men too to go nude and not just from the women.
Top 3 scenes.
1. The freak out/fight scene in the office. (Bonkers Bruce Lee impersonation from Cannavale) 2. The conference/im gonna fire u all scene. 3. Cannavale`s and Olivia`s sex scene.

Nas, thanks for the episode run downs. I finally caught up with the show, including last night's episode. And now I understand why the show was renewed, despite low ratings. I love the music interludes, as well. And all the diner scenes. From all the real-life artists, I think Elvis was very good, especially his voice and mild behavior when he was speaking. Warhol was spot-on, too. You're right about Casella, Romano and Quaid. Such nice surprises! Cannavale is very good, but all his highs seem the same and they are filmed the same, too. Can't they find another camera movement for the "after-the-hit" shot? I think he has more range in his "low" moments. The "Bruce Lee at the office" and the "Day after Christmas" scenes were hilarious. (Goodbye to ginger bread... ) I wish I knew who the wedding singer is supposed to be. And I don't exactly understand the deal with the extra Donny Osmond records.

Will what wedding singer? U mean the bar mitzvah singer? Gary (Xavier) is a fictional character but he`s partly based on Jobriath according to critics.

Episode 9
1. P.J. Byrne is so entertaining to watch. 2. Paul Ben-Victor is a great character actor. 3. The whole murder thing subplot is the least interesting thing to me in this show. 4. Inspiring use of "Windmills of your mind" through different scenes. 5. Juno Temple proves once again with this role too, what we all ready knew. That she is the most raw talent of her generation.
Top 3 scenes.
1. The bat/Devon+Richie at the Chelsea hotel room scene. 2. Devon`s and Richie`s sidewalk scene. 3. Jamie`s threesome scene.

Episode 10 (Season Finale)
1. Season 1 was satisfying. The cast was the best thing about it. I can`t wait for season 2. 2. This episode had overall the best mucic of any other episode in season 1. 3. The whole mobsters element destructs us from the most important stuff of this show. The music and the music industry. 4. Where the fuck was Olivia Wilde in this episode?. Her complete absence was huge huge mistake. 5. “You and Maury can suck the permission out of my dick.”
Top 3 scenes.
1. The overdose scene. 2. The concert scene. 3. The office party scene.
