I know IMDB is not exactly to be trusted - users can edit pages - but I peeked at their page for SILENCE today & it lists the great Ciaran Hinds playing a Father Valignano. It also now has character names attached to every other cast member like Tadanobu Asano playing the Interpreter & Yosuke Kubozuka playing Kichijiro (I though Issei Ogata was playing that part). I was just curious if anyone had proof of this? I really like Ciaran Hinds as an actor & could easily see him playing a Father at the start of the film.
