thanks all for the reviews. keep them coming peanut, the Telegraph one was my favorite review, as well. I'm so happy when they "get" it.

WillRunning out of time to play, so only posting links for now, but looking forward to seeing more reviews when I return From what I've seen so far at Total Film, Empire, Guardian, UK Telegraph, and Shone of London Times , it appears that "Wolf" may get BAFTA love as well ! Yes, I've noticed that some reviewers take issue with Marty not showing Jordan totally ruined ,destitute at the end , making it appear as 'if' Jordan got away with it , never realizing that in saying that they are showing 'they did GET Marty's point = that is the reality = bad guys be they mobsters , serial killers, or Wall Street crooks like Jordan DO often "get way it" , a slap or handcuffs on the wrist, and then before you know it = their back in business because we are their 'accomplices' in 'buying' what they sell

Re: Luminick - Did Luminck get duped into buying penny stocks or not enough se.x in college? Also, correct me if I'm wrong but he seemed to have taken quotes verbatim from Jeff Wells.
It's funny how he thinks DiCaprio should stop playing 20 year olds. Usually DiCaprio is criticized for not looking old enough for his roles.
And Luminck's obsession with the candle scene. Not sure how to respond to that.
Re: Belfort not getting his "due" at the end. Well, this is based in a real life person's memoir, so ... Did Henry Hill get his just punishment? No. He got probation and protection. Sometimes bad people don't get their punishment. This isn't a Disney movie.
All of the above said, thanks to everyone for posting the reviews. Seems most worthwhile critics liked the film.

The reviews are generally good so far, but many have accused this of being misogynist and there's a strong group of people who definitely are not fans.

I hope arnzilla will later do the green/red count he always does, but can you estimate how many are in that group so far?

It's hard to say because it's mostly people on Twitter that have been mumbling they didn't like it or they completely agree with the negative reviews that were just posted today. On Metacritic so far there are 8 positive reviews, 1 mixed, and 1 negative but I expect the mixed and negatives to increase.

Will
I have seen lots of tweets on Twitter by people excited by the praise from the various critics/their fave critic , as well as saying they cant wait to see it
Overall the tweets have been positive toward the movie, I suggest all check out Wolf at Twitter themselves
