Clip with the scene we see where Donnie quits to go work with Belfort: It is interesting to me that Jordan hires Danny on the spot, just because Danny tells him what a greedy bastard he is. Other employers would probably wanna know if he would be any good as a broker.

SikriI think Jordan hires Danny without asking about his financial work experience, because as they show in the trailer, Jordan feels that with his expertise he can mold anyone into an expert trader. All they need to do is follow his script Of course, in reality, Danny was one of his best pals growing up as were several of the guys who he brought into his firm. It wasn't important that they knew the financial world but rather that they were his most trusted pals.
