I guess they are only promoting it as a raunchy comedy. I would have expected a poster portraying Jordan Belfort as a stockbroker. This poster is a bit misleading. zotteteen's poster was better, although they would never actually have used a poster so close to GoodFellas' poster.

I love how the photoshopped a different tie on. Fearing the paisley would turn people off. ;D So the poster is a screenshot? Yes, it appears they're using captures from the film and not still photographs. |

Okay, looking at both posters again, they certainly look like mock-up designs for a poster idea. The second one has a better connection to the film's title, but the photoshopping is quite bad. I mean, look at the added stiletto shoe at the bottom left, and the added hand on guy next to the chimp. Plus the background photos all have different focus and scale. This can't be a finished job.
Also, what's up with Belfort's name featuring so prominently on all promos like he's Stephen King or something? He's not a household name, is he?
Anyway, I'll stop being negative now. But, please, hurry up with a better final poster.

Thanks will for the posters. At first sight i thought were fan-made posters.
The 1st one is kinda of awesome.
The 2nd one not so much. It looks weird and fake. Not feeling it.
