This was my favorite use of song in the film. So, I noticed that Graduate shot in the film, but why was Mrs. Robinson played later? What was the connection?

It was used during the FBI raid on Stratton Oakmont and the song is about changing values... so, interpret away! BTW, I was right about the inclusion of Howlin' Wolf's Spoonful. Scorsese just used it in a different scene.

thanks, arnzilla zotteteen, thanks for the link. I'm posting the list here: Regarding the "What Power Art Thou", which was used for the slow-motion scene, has anyone found which version it was? Because it sounded like the instrumental was played in normal speed, but the vocals had been lowered. Or perhaps I'm used to hearing it sung by counter-tenors...

Does this help? That was one of my favorite uses of song-to-image: The Quaalude intro as Donny babbles about Steve Madden during beer pong. I think it was used for the most "powerful drug" speech.

Jeffrey Wells called "Hey Leroy" a cousin to "El Watusi." I mentioned the latter on the old board in the soundtrack thread for TWOWS.

I forget, was this track used for Emma and Chantalle (and her brood) heading to Switzerland and Saurel's very happy response? I need to make a song-to-scene thread.

Mmm, can't be sure but I think it was later. Maybe in that montage that included Saurel being the "king of the divan"?

Anybody know anywhere we can get the original music composed by Robbie Robertson? Also, anybody get a good version (closest to the movie) of the King Arthur song or Can't Help Falling in Love With You? I'm trying to make a playlist on my comp with every song.

As far as I know, the only original music Robertson composed is in the post above yours.
